food and nutrition services provided
We provide preschool meals and afterschool meals for organizations serving in at-risk youth populations. The meals consist of a five-component supper and a two-component snack. These meals are provided through our partnership with the At-Risk meals program of North Carolina.
We provide food reimbursements for daycare homes and childcare centers whom partner with us to provide nutritious meals to the kids in their care. The cash reimbursements for meals served in their daycare setting is allowable through our partnership with the Child and Adult Food Program of North Carolina.
We provide meals and snacks for summer camps serving kids of impoverished communities. These summer meals consist of Breakfast/Lunch/Snack, and are provided through our partnership with the Summer Food Service Program of North Carolina.
donate ‘we need your help’
We are currently in need of 2 mobile vans to increase food deliveries. While we are currently grateful for the support received thus far in our food programs, reliable transportation is one of our biggest obstacles. Currently our staff uses personal vehicles to transport food, and make weekly meal deliveries. With your help we will reach more at-risk youth whom are experiencing hunger insecurities. Through our ‘Child Meals On-The-Go’ , we can bring more balanced meals and snacks to marginalized youth at their neighborhood level. We utilize neighborhood pop-ups to bring underserved community children fresh nutritious meals and snacks. We need your help into making this initiative a success!
